After Hurricane Update: Tuesday, September 12th 3:30 PM

Town staff continues to clear debris from public property and conduct damage assessment. If you have major damage to your home or structures please report it to Town Administrator Sara Irvine at Town Hall or call 439-1910.

Please place all brush to the road. The County contracts with a company which will be around next week to start pick up.

Republic will service regular garbage and recycling on Friday, September 15th.

We have not been notified if Points of Distribution will be opened. The town is not a point of distribution and we have no ice. Businesses are open up an down highway 27.

Duke Energy and Sprectrum are out working on restoring our electric and cable/internet/phone services.

If you need assistance please contact town hall. We are open from 8-4 and the phone is rolled over to a cell phone so call 439-1910.

Please report any illegal dumping to the Police Department. Get license plate numbers if you can do it safely. This will help keep the town cost from continuing to raise.

Yard debris Pick Up schedule. Debris is picked up once per week. Place your debris out as close to your pickday as possible. Please bag your leaves and grass clipping. It is required under our NPDES permit. Thank you.
