The Town of Lake Hamilton encourages all residents to participate in the DEA's National Rx Take Back Day on Saturday, April 24, 2021 (10am-2pm). It's spring cleaning season, and that means it's time to clean out those medicine cabinets.
During this event residents may safely dispose of unused or expired medications at the Lake Hamilton Police Department.
Unused or expired prescription medications are a public safety issue, leading to potential accidental poisoning, misuse, and overdose. Proper disposal of unused drugs saves lives and protects the environment.
